Rants about Present-Wrapping

So. Our Christmas tree is out and decorated and trying it's best to cover the presents we've tried to shove under it and probably also trying to poke us whenever we get too close. Like when we try to shove another newly wrapped present under it.

Have I ever told you about how annoying wrapping presents is? Especially when that present isn't in a box. L&B's presents are similar...and I tried to wrap Beth's. When our home teachers came over they said it looked like a turkey. And it does. So now we all say that Beth's getting a turkey for Christmas. Lily's I just threw in a bag. Thomas' is ball-shaped and was horribly awkward to try to wrap, because I made a cylinder of wrapping paper around it, then tried to twist the sides like those candy things, but the paper was too short, so then I just taped the twistyish things to the rest of the paperish thing. Yeah. Dad's is an oddly shaped object as well, and didn't turn out well either. I have no idea what to get for mom. A weird little poem or story thing just isn't that great. At all.
