Cake Creating

Mom wanted me to practice cake decorating, on a 5-inch across circular cake. I put on icing and tried to spread it. Mom ended up doing the finishing smooths. I practiced the shell on the cake. I ended up doing the name twice, once in white, once in pink. The rose on the left is mine and the others are mom's. She said mine was better, but I like hers more. I did the leaves and I think the cake is awesome!

Dear Muskatyra:

I love it! Thanks for blogging. Your post on cooking made me laugh because I can totally imagine your mom doing that. I, of course, would NEVER do something like that. I'm way too serious and sober. :)

I can't wait to see what else you will write.

So...I thought the first pic with you holding the rose was from a professional website! What a perfect rose! (and yours DOES look better than your mom's!)

maybe one fay you can teach me that along with the flute. I'm so bummed I didn't get any flute lessons from you this summer!

I'm SO impressed! This is amazing! And I hope when you give Aunt Anne those flute lessons, you'll also give her some spelling lessons. That will be a great fay, I mean day. :)
