Writing Updation Report: Incoming chapter book

New book in progress:
  • thin, "little-kid" version
  • Main Character: "happy-diddy" princess
  • Other Characters: crystalline animals; 3 fish, frog, turtle, unicorn, chipmunk, butterflies, dragon
  • Setting: fairy tale "once upon a time..."
So, there's the info. It was a "long-lost" story that was supposed to be a story about a silly little princess that went and had a happy time with her animals, then to give it a twist, she meets a dragon who flies her home. The end. Except I actually made a plot, so there has to be chapters.

I guess that's all.

Hey kiddo: plot does not necessarily mean chapters. Any narrative fiction from a one-line short story (they do exist) to War and Peace have plots. So if chapters don't work for this tale, go with the short story. Edgar Allan Poe defined a short story as a unified piece of prose that could be read in one sitting. I'll hunt down his rules for story writing and get them to you. You are awesome! Love, UncaB
