Friday night I went over to Audrey's house for a sleepover. Mom got me this guide to the perfect sleepover or something like that, and it talks about how you should plan a sleepover thoroughly--food, games, sleeping area, stuff like that. And that invitations should be sent out at least 2 weeks in advance. Our sleepovers, on the other hand, are just meeting up outside of her school and asking each other if we're going to tae kwon do. Then when we're there one of us may randomly ask the other if we want to have a sleepover. And that's that. So on Friday night I went over to her house for dinner (which was beef and french fries and broccoli--not wilted--which is much better than the leftovers they had at home--wilted broccoli and pirogies and whatever comes out of the fridge). And we painted our nails. I...erm...did mine a sparkly glow-in-the-dark pink. The pink didn't really show up, but when we went to bed at...umm...11:59 (gosh mom, that's before midnight!) my nails glowed. They were really creepy. I couldn't see my...urg...glow-in-the-dark braces, but I figured if I grinned at a lightbulb for just 30 seconds...and maybe show the light my nails too...well, I'd be a freak show or something.
Lily and Beth would think I looked beautiful.
Anyways, we also made this vanilla cake from a mix that was dairy and egg free, so Audrey could actually eat it. We put this "whipped" vanilla icing on it that tasted like marshmallows, and then we stuck some tiny rainbow butterflies on it. It was delicious. It was kinda awkward to get it out of the pan, though, because even with all the margarine we rubbed on the pan, the cake wouldn't come out, even when we turned it upside down and shook it.When we woke up we...um...wanted cake for breakfast, but Audrey's mom had tried to scrape off the abundance of icing on a part of the cake, and somehow the whole cake slipped out and landed in the sink, which for some reason was hosting a bowl of water waiting to be washed. So we decided to make cookies, but Audrey's parents decided that we had done enough cooking.
It was fun anyway.
Look! I actually blogged about something! I'm not just complaining about how bored I am!

I like the blog and especially the font. And I'm so glad that things aren't so boring when you go to Audrey's house, at least! I'm not sure I totally believe you about that 11:59 part, though! And doesn't what Sister Haywood did sound like something I would do? That's why she's such a great friend!
Awesome, awesome, awesome! What a fun sleepover and a great telling.
Where can I get me some glow in the dark nailpolish? (I'll let Evie have the GITD braces some day). :)
*sigh* That was SOOOOOO much fun! It's kinda weird you blogged it though.:P JK:D
